When and where is it?
The third project WHAT MOVES YOU will run from 29 July to 28 August 2016 in Berlin (Germany).
Participation is possible for the whole period only.
May I participate?
You may participate if you are between 17 and 23 years old, bringing prior experience in Eurythmy (such as
a Waldorf student / alumni). Application is required. Non-adult participants will also need a written permission
from their parents. Students require a written permission to leave their school, should the project period wont
be within holidays.
What´s the objective?
The objective of this project is to rehearse and perform a Eurythmy program designed especially for this
event. The entire program will be performed at one of Berlin´s major opera houses.
What courses and workshops will be offered?
In addition to the Eurythmy rehearsals (about five hours per day), there will be a selection of optional
workshops (by choice). A detailed overview of all courses and workshops can be found on this website in
spring 2016. Also, there will be excursions, museum visits, and time for your initiatives. All workshops will be
led by experienced teachers. Musicians will be available during the rehearsals. More about our team here.
What about accommodation and meals?
You will live on the beautiful campus of one of the cities´ Waldorf Schools, the „Rudolf Steiner Schule Berlin“.
It is located quietly in a district close to the center of Berlin. Here, you´ll find rooms for accomodation in small
groups, four large eurythmy halls, sanitary facilities, and a cafeteria, where daily meals will be prepared.
Experienced staff will be on-site 24/7.
What does it cost?
The participation fee of EUR 800,- includes all course fees, workshops, tours, costumes, accommodation
and meals for four weeks. It can be paid in two rates. Together with your application, a non-refundable
application fee of EUR 25,- applies. Applications for scholarships and travel grants will be accepted after you
have succesfully applied and if your situation does not allow to carry the costs completely on your own.
What about the terms and conditions during the project?
This project is based on the commitment of all, and it is therefore very important that you feel comfortable
when attending. WHAT MOVES YOU is not a school, but also in a community like this, it needs certain rules.
These rules include: No alcohol and drugs on-campus. Also we will ask you for your understanding, to keep
quiet at nights between 11 P.M. and 7 A.M. Minors are not allowed to leave grounds at night.
