Marcel Zaba was born in Baden, Switzerland and studied at the University of Zurich. After his studies, he was involved in numerous productions in the Schauspielakademie Zurich, with Marco Arturo Marelli for the Nationaltheater Mannheim, for the Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspiele and at Covent Garden London as outfitter, facilities assistant, tour manager as well as technical supervisor. Between 1986 and 1989, he assisted Tirelli Costumi in Rome, Italy and at the Theater Würzburg in the field of set and costume design. Previous engagements as freelance set and costume designer include theatres and artists such as in Berlin (Sophiensaele, Neukölln Opera), Potsdam, Brandenburg, Neustrelitz, Heidelberg, Kaiserslautern and Bremerhaven. From 1994 to 1996, he worked as Head of the set design department at the Theater Vorpommern Stralsund. He also worked for numerous TV and film productions. Marcel Zaba previously designed costumes for Eurythmy productions, such as "Kalevala 2009 - Sanan Mahti. The Power of the Word ". For his work, he was awarded by the magazine „Opernwelt“ several times.
Born in England, Peter Jackson moved to Holland when he was still a teenager and became involved in
stage lighting there. He worked for a while in the Municipal Theatre of Arnhem and subsequently toured with
drama and opera in Holland. It was also in Holland where he became involved with Eurythmy. He has been
lighting for all the world's main Eurythmy Ensembles ever since.
After moving to Germany in 1989 he
designed Opera and Drama as well as touring worldwide with numerous Eurythmy productions. In 1995 he
formed, with some colleagues, the company Prometheus Lighting
and worked as a freelance lighter and
designer up until 2005 when he started to work for the Goetheanum in Dornach
recent work includes the Lighting Design for Rudolf Steiner's Four Mystery Plays, as well as many Eurythmy
productions including „Lamentate“ for the co-production of the Goetheanum with the Else Klink Ensemble Stuttgart
, „Kalevala“ in Helsinki, and most recently Kanceli's „Time in Again“. He has been the Light Designer
of all previous productions of WHAT MOVES YOU.
